This exceptional range of modernistic furniture is named after Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881 – 1973) the famous Spanish sculptor and painter, best known as the co-founder of the Cubist movement. Inspired is the first word that really springs to mind when you set eyes on this collection. Inspired design, Inspired workmanship – and Inspired quality of material – we only ever use 100% European oak in our furniture, and never resort to veneers, MDF or hardboard.

Characteristic features of the Pablo Range are the chunky mitered legs displayed as a signature on every one of the pieces - as well as solidity, this also adds a very contemporary facet to the design. Another highly individual touch is the built-in drawer and cupboard handles which are deftly fashioned out of the same piece of wood as the drawers and cupboards fronts themselves. All drawers are put together using precise dovetail joints (there’s not a nail in sight), the drawers are lined with solid oak (not hardboard) and the runners are made from solid oak too (not plastic or metal). Cupboard backs are also solid oak boarded (again without resorting to hardboard).

This furniture is built to last a lifetime and more, which in this disposable, flat-pack age we live in, is something to feel very proud about. On that note - to ensure the maximum longevity of fine oak furniture like this, a simple application of natural Danish oil on a three monthly basis will nourish the timbers and maintain its excellent condition.
