The Cairo Solid Oak Collection

This is echoed in our Cairo Range of exquisite 100% oak furniture, which fuses both modern clean lines with classic embellishments in a cosmopolitan aesthetically pleasing style.

The differentiating detail that defines this range is the striking curved valance that is applied to the three visible sides of each cabinet piece; this gives an attractive salon look to the collection. Another noteworthy facet is the sturdy cast metal drawer handles. But, just as importantly every piece is hand fashioned, by experienced craftsmen, using only 100% European solid oak…even to the cupboard backs and the drawer linings. All internal drawer joints are dovetailed, with not a pin or screw in sight. And unlike examples of inferior quality, you won’t find any veneers, hardboard or MDF in our furniture.

The life and good looks of quality oak furniture like this is greatly enhanced by a simple application of natural Danish oil 3/4 times a year. This maintains the condition and accentuates the beauty of the oak grain. Indeed, the appearance of oak furniture truly does improve with age if looked after caringly.
