The Andorra Solid Oak Collection

Inspired by the rugged principality that lies in between France and Spain the superlative Andorra Range of fine oak furniture draws its design influences from a curiously intriguing mixture of modern/minimalist and classic rustic Latin/European roots.

Graceful angled top edges and elegantly chamfered curved legs characterise this range, together with the contemporary cross grove design, which is applied to the front of drawers and doors. Another noteworthy feature is the sleek brushed steel handles that accentuate the fresh, modern look of the collection. But, most importantly every piece is hand fashioned, by experienced craftsmen, using only 100% European solid oak…even to the cupboard backs and the drawer linings. All internal drawer joints are dovetailed, with not a pin or screw in sight. Unlike examples of inferior quality, you won’t find any veneers, hardboard or MDF in any of our furniture.

The life and good looks of quality oak furniture like this is greatly enhanced by a simple application of natural Danish oil 3/4 times a year. This maintains the condition and accentuates the beauty of the oak grain. Indeed, the appearance of oak furniture truly does improve with age if looked after caringly.
